Role Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Sales Support, the Customer Service and Sales Support Representative provides high-quality support to customers and internal sales teams to drive business growth and deliver a consistent, reliable customer experience. This role is responsible for managing order and quote processes, maintaining accurate system data, and serving as a key point of contact for customer inquiries. The position requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and accurate responses while supporting sales operations and customer needs.

You will operate in a team that values people, clear communication, and practical problem solving. Success in this role means following through on commitments, thinking critically about how work gets done, and collaborating across teams to deliver outcomes that matter to customers and the business.

This position is part of the Commercial Operations Sales Team located in Aix-en-Provence, France and will be Hybrid work model with 2 days remote and 3 days in-office in Aix-en-Provence.

A Typical Day

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Support sales operations by managing incoming quote requests via phone, email, and other channels, ensuring timely, accurate responses.

• Prepare customer quotations and convert approved quotes into orders within the ERP system, maintaining accuracy in pricing, configuration, and terms.

• Enter and manage customer orders, ensuring all details are correct and aligned with customer requirements and internal processes.

• Maintain and update customer and opportunity data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure visibility and data integrity.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

• Respond to customer inquiries related to pricing, availability, lead times, shipping, and terms with clear, factual communication.

• Resolve customer issues by working directly with internal teams, identifying root causes, and ensuring full follow-through to resolution.

• Coordinate with sales, operations, and technical teams to address order issues, technical questions, and customer needs.

• Communicate proactively on status, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment and no surprises.

• Managing the main phone line (standard)

• Handling incoming mail (opening and distribution)

• Receiving and managing deliveries and parcels

Essential Requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or a related role.

• Experience working with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Infor, Salesforce).

• Speaks French and proficient in English
