Job Description
As part of the development of our activities in applied artificial intelligence and operational research, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist Consultant capable of designing, developing, and industrializing high-value-added solutions for our key clients.
Your Responsibilities:
Within project teams, you may be responsible for the following missions:
- Analyze business needs and design scientific models (optimization, learning, simulation).
- Develop and evaluate machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models for complex use cases.
- Implement training and deployment pipelines (MLOps / LLMOps) on Cloud environments.
- Integrate models into data applications and ensure their quality, performance, and explainability.
- Maintain technological watch and contribute to the continuous improvement of AI architectures and processes.
- Support clients in their AI maturity development and participate in pre-sales phases.
Your Role at Talan:
- Benchmark solutions and advise our clients on the technological solutions to adopt, in line with their needs.
- Conduct POCs (Proof of Concept).
- Participate in internal projects and share knowledge within our teams.
- Share knowledge and provide internal training.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree / PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in data science, including a portion on high-stakes industrial projects.
- Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.
- Proficiency in Python and its ecosystems (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch, etc.).
- Experience with cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and MLOps.
- Skills in optimization and planning.
- Knowledge of data management and governance best practices.

- Ability to simplify complex concepts and collaborate with business stakeholders.
- Technical leadership and autonomy.
Highly Valued:
- Experience in banking and insurance.
- Knowledge of Databricks or Snowflake.
