Responsibilities
New Business
- Generate net new revenue by identifying and winning new customer accounts across France
- Work with prospects to demonstrate the value of Paessler's product suite and convert prospects into customers
- Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and proof-of-concept engagements to address prospect pain points
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified new business opportunities using Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and approved AI tools
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to convert customers from inbound leads and outbound campaigns
- Negotiate and close new business contracts, ensuring a smooth handover to the Customer Success team
Expansion Business
- Drive expansion revenue by identifying upsell and upgrade opportunities within the existing Paessler customer base in France
- Engage existing customers proactively to understand evolving monitoring needs and propose suitable license upgrades or feature expansions
- Present the value of upgrading from lower to higher PRTG tiers
- Work closely with Customer Success and Support teams to identify growth-ready accounts
- Track and report on expansion pipeline, forecast accuracy, and customer health metrics within Salesforce
Cross-Functional Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with IT decision-makers, procurement leads, and C-level stakeholders across both prospects and existing accounts
- Represent Paessler at French trade shows, webinars, and industry events to strengthen brand presence in the market
- Coordinate with channel partners in France to maximize joint go-to-market activities for both new and expansion opportunities
Your Profile
- Proven experience (3+ years) in B2B software or SaaS sales, ideally in IT infrastructure, network management, or related fields
- Demonstrated success in both New Business and Expansion Business
- Familiarity with IT, OT, and IoT monitoring concepts is a strong advantage
- French at native-level proficiency and solid working proficiency in English
- Strong consultative selling skills: you identify pain points, present value-based solutions, and close deals with confidence
- Self-motivated and highly organized. You manage your own pipeline and priorities in a fully remote environment
- Experience with rigorous Salesforce documentation and comfortable with data-driven sales management
- Team player who contributes actively to the broader EMEA Sales team
