A leading international consumer goods organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Consumer Marketing to lead its French marketing function and drive customer engagement, brand growth, and commercial performance across a multi-channel retail environment.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a senior marketing professional with a strong track record in consumer marketing, customer experience, and omnichannel transformation.
The Role
As Head of Consumer Marketing, you will define and execute the consumer marketing strategy for the French market, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives while contributing to wider Western European business initiatives.
You will lead a multidisciplinary marketing team, oversee significant marketing investment, and play a key role in enhancing customer experience across digital and physical channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the consumer marketing strategy for the French market.
- Align marketing initiatives with business growth and revenue objectives.
- Contribute to wider Western European marketing strategy and planning.
- Prioritise high-impact projects that deliver measurable commercial results.
- Lead the customer journey across all online and offline touchpoints.
- Develop and execute high-performing omnichannel marketing campaigns.
- Optimise customer experience across retail, digital, and service channels.
- Leverage customer data and insights to improve engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary marketing team.
- Foster a customer-centric, agile, and performance-driven culture.
- Lead marketing transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage a significant marketing budget and ensure strong return on investment.
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics including ROI, ROAS, and campaign effectiveness.
- Build relationships with local and international stakeholders.
- Manage external agencies and strategic partners.
About You
- Minimum 10 years' experience in B2C marketing.
- Strong background in omnichannel marketing across digital and retail environments.
- Proven success developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
- 5--7 years' leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience operating within international, matrix, and multi-brand organisations.
- Strong expertise in Customer Experience (CX) and customer journey optimisation.
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical capability.
- Proven ability to manage large budgets and deliver measurable marketing performance.
