Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Manage tour schedules and guide calendars
• Coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth tour execution
• Provide customer support (before and after tours)
• Communicate effectively with guides and clients
• Handle last-minute changes and problem-solving
• Support light social media tasks (~1 hour/week: posting or coordinating content)

Requirements:

• Fluent English (required)
• Additional language is a strong plus (Spanish, French, or Italian preferred)
• Proven experience in operations, customer support, coordination, or similar roles
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• High level of reliability, responsiveness, and autonomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure
• References required

Role Details:

• Fully remote
• Freelance / Independent Contractor
• Flexible schedule, but availability required on weekends and holidays
• Workload varies significantly by season:
  • Low season: ~3 hours per week
  • High season: up to ~3 hours per day

Peak seasons:

• December
• May through September

Compensation:

• $600/month, paid bi-weekly
• Includes a 2-week training period
