Main Purpose of the Role

Welocalize is looking for an English into Corsican French freelance translator and proofreader with experience in the field of Marketing and Product related documents for an ongoing translation and proofreading project for a leading multinational technology company. The project will include fields such as online advertising technologies, cloud computing, marketing products and more.

This is an on-going freelance and remote position.

Project Details

  • Location: Remote
  • Expected Volume: approximately 500 to 1,000 words per week
  • Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract
  • Task type: Translation and Copy-editing
  • Content types: Marketing, Products, Online Help, Informational
  • CAT Tool: client specific CAT tool

Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates who fulfill the following requirements:

  • Minimum one year experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals: Translation and Copy-editing
  • Experience using CAT tools
  • Translation degree or, if other degree, 2 years of translation experience or, if no degree, 5 years of translation experience
