Job Description
Reporting to the Operational Performance Department, you will be responsible for managing national projects focused on the management and optimization of network assets, with a particular focus on sanitation networks. You will ensure cross-functional collaboration with operators, the asset management coordinator of the DOP, experts from the French Technical Department, and the Development and DB&T Department.
Performance and Innovation
Technical Scoping:
You will scope, guide, and challenge operations on processes related to sanitation networks, in close collaboration with the technical experts from the Technical Department.
Lean Project Management:
You will manage and lead problem-solving initiatives (Lean approach: A3, PDCA) aimed at improving the reliability and simplification of processes. You will ensure the capitalization and sharing of results at a national level and lead a community of practice for the regions and territories. Frequent site visits are to be expected.
Best Practices:
You will participate in the identification and dissemination of best practices for sanitation network operations within VEF, in coordination with experts from the French Technical Department and BS&P (Group).
Indicators:
You will be responsible for the production, interpretation, and benchmarking of national performance indicators.
Watch and Innovation:
You will be proactive, conduct technological watch, and promote innovation initiatives in network asset management. You will ensure a regular presence on the ground to understand the real problems faced by operators.
Asset Management
- You will participate in defining VEF's national policy and offering for asset management, in conjunction with the Development Department.
- You will implement and promote this policy among regions and territories.
- You will contribute to the preparation of certain commercial proposals in your area of expertise.
Digitalization
- You will be the key interface between operational staff and DB&T teams.
- You will manage (as PO) the development of IS&T IT tools related to the description of network assets (Vigie tool and associated data models) and the monitoring of network operations (NOMAD tool).
- You will monitor the implementation of advanced Asset Management tools proposed by the Group.
- You will define the deployment plans for these tools to promote best practices in the field and meet the needs of operators for performance and value creation.
- You will participate in defining the Hubgrade solutions developed by Eau de France.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Solid knowledge of VEF's business and tools.
- Proven ability to manage national projects with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Lean methodologies (problem-solving, A3, PDCA, Kaizen facilitation).
- Autonomy in using digital tools and working with data (diagnostics, database exploitation, dashboard creation).
- In-depth understanding of the technical operational challenges in the sanitation sector.
Behavioral Skills
- Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to persuade and mobilize without hierarchical authority, through pedagogy and example.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills for leading national meetings and presenting problem-solving results.
- Field Proximity: Field curiosity and good interpersonal skills with operational teams.
- Synthesis Skills: Ability to synthesize and simplify complex technical subjects for various audiences.
- Team Spirit: Enjoyment of transversal work within the DOP.
