Description du poste

The Role

You will own the software vision and be accountable for its execution. That means setting the technical roadmap, shaping the architecture, leading a distributed engineering organisation, and ensuring the platform performs reliably across markets at scale.

Strategic thinking matters here --- but so does the ability to make sound technical decisions and drive delivery in a fast-moving environment where regulatory compliance is not optional, and where the consequences of getting it wrong extend beyond the business.

Requirements

  • Based in Europe and able to work across European timezones
  • Proven engineering leadership in data-heavy, app-first, or subscription-based businesses
  • Track record of building or scaling reliable software platforms in high-growth or multi-market environments
  • Deep expertise in cloud architecture, mobile platforms, data systems, and third-party integrations
  • Strong grasp of AI applications, automation frameworks, and modern data operations
  • Comfortable managing distributed teams and external development partners
  • Strategic and outcome-driven --- able to set clear goals and hold teams accountable
  • Demonstrable experience working within a regulated healthcare environment is essential --- familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 13485, EU MDR, or equivalent quality and compliance standards is a significant advantage
  • A genuine understanding of what it means to build software where clinical integrity and data governance are non-negotiable

Core Responsibilities

  • Define and own the software and data strategy, translating business priorities into a clear technical roadmap with measurable outcomes
  • Oversee all software development across mobile, backend, data infrastructure, and commercial platform integrations
  • Design and implement a centralised data architecture that unifies inputs across product, marketing, and commercial functions
  • Build and maintain a resilient, multi-market infrastructure capable of supporting regional variation in language, regulation, and commercial model
  • Lead and develop an in-house engineering team alongside external partners and contractors
  • Establish and uphold engineering best practices across deployment, testing, versioning, and documentation
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks --- working in close, proactive alignment with quality and regulatory functions rather than treating compliance as a downstream concern
  • Identify and embed AI tooling and automation across development and data operations
  • Partner closely with product, design, and commercial teams, bridging technical capability and business outcomes

All applications are handled with complete confidentiality.
