Context
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team and support the operational maintenance of our AWS cloud platform. You will work within a rich technical environment, including BI infrastructure, microservices, websites, and their databases.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Daily monitoring of environments using monitoring tools
- Execution of preventive maintenance procedures
- Verification of backups and restoration tests
- Level 2 support for technical incidents
- Updating technical documentation
Automation and Continuous Improvement
- Implementation of CI/CD pipelines
- Optimization of deployment processes
- Participation in improving monitoring tools
Security and Compliance
- Application of defined security policies
- Monitoring of security alerts
- Updating systems and security patches
Projects and Development
- Participation in infrastructure evolution projects
- Participation in migration projects
- Documentation of processes
Technical Skills Required
Systems and Networks
- Linux/Unix administration
- Good understanding of networks (OSI model, DNS, DHCP)
- IT security knowledge
Cloud and Infrastructure
- Very good knowledge of AWS
- Docker
Development and Automation
- Bash/Shell scripting
- Git and version management
- Solid knowledge of Terraform
Databases
- Basic MySQL/PostgreSQL administration
- Concepts of backup/restore, access, and monitoring for databases
Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience with Node.js
- Good knowledge of a CI/CD tool (ideally Github Actions)
- Solid experience in monitoring
Transversal Skills
- Rigor and method in task execution
- Fast learning ability
- Team spirit and communication
- Stress resistance for incident management
- Good command of technical English
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, networks, or systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of production environment challenges
