  • Leading space‑planning and consulting assignments, from gathering requirements to facilitating workshops and presenting concepts to clients.
  • Developing influence‑based consulting activities with decision‑makers and specifiers to promote Steelcase's value and shift customer mindsets.
  • Translating insights, research, and client needs into actionable design solutions, layouts, feasibility studies, and space plans.
  • Building and sustaining long‑term client relationships, supporting them from discovery through delivery and adoption of new spaces.
  • Creating visuals, presentations, 3D renderings, and tailored project materials that support clear, compelling communication.
  • Supporting junior Design Consultants by offering guidance, feedback, and project coordination.
  • Staying ahead of workplace and design trends by researching emerging practices and anticipating customer needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in interior architecture, interior design, or architecture.
  • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions, and influence decisions.
  • Experience in interior architecture and consulting, with the capability to engage clients, gather insights, and translate needs into design solutions.
  • Comfort with public speaking, client presentations, and persuasive communication.
  • High proficiency in French (C1/native) and fluency in English for client‑facing consulting, workshops, and presentations.
  • Portfolio requirement: Please include your portfolio when applying. Applications without a portfolio cannot be considered.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Experience in Design & Build or consulting environments, with the ability to engage diverse customer groups and adapt to consulting style accordingly.
  • Strong influencing and storytelling skills, able to shift customer mindsets using insights, research, and compelling narratives.
  • Working knowledge of change‑management principles and how workplace strategy supports organizational evolution.
  • Solid project‑management fundamentals, including structuring missions, organizing phases, and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Ability to scope and price consulting missions, understanding effort, deliverables, and value.
  • Analytical and insight‑driven mindset, capable of interpreting findings and translating them into actionable recommendations.
  • Open, adaptable, and collaborative working style, favoring customer‑focused solutions over rigid artistic approaches
