Supporting Meaningful Work -- work brings deeper motivation, purpose and fulfillment to our lives

  • Building and maintaining executive-level relationships with global and regional customers, primarily headquartered in Paris, across multiple geographies.
  • Leading and coordinating global account strategies, aligning locally focused sales teams across EMEA and collaborating with partners in the Americas and APAC.
  • Developing and executing growth strategies for designated global accounts, including account planning, forecasting, and long-term brand positioning.
  • Consulting with customers on workspace transformation initiatives, connecting business strategy, user needs, and design-led solutions.
  • Identifying and prioritizing commercial opportunities by analyzing account intelligence, stakeholder dynamics, and broader business challenges
  • Negotiating and managing global or regional frame contracts, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and Steelcase commercial targets.
  • Driving project acquisition and order intake within assigned key accounts, while communicating engagement status to internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-national or global customer accounts in a sales or consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell solutions at enterprise level, including influencing senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand organizational strategy, customer priorities, and commercial drivers.
  • Experience leading or coordinating large, multi-disciplinary projects across multiple locations or countries.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain long-term executive relationships with multiple decision-makers and influencers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences and cultures.
  • Fluency in French and English.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Experience working in a consultative sales or client advisory role, ideally within a design-led, workplace, or solution-based environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engagements across cultures and regions, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capability, translating broad objectives into clear execution plans.
  • Advanced negotiation and contracting experience, preferably at regional or global framework agreement level.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, navigating ambiguity while remaining accountable for commercial outcomes.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and influence skills, including empathy, active listening, and adapting communication style to stakeholder needs.
  • International exposure (working or studying abroad) and proficiency in additional languages beyond French and English.
