Job Description

The Opportunity

You will join the Digital Platform Services (DPS) division within the Sopra Steria Lyon agency, which has around a hundred employees.

Depending on your assignments, you will work within internal Sopra Steria teams on outsourcing services or be directly integrated into client teams. You will be supported by a dynamic team that will actively involve you in the entire project.

Your Role and Missions

  • Deployment and Maintenance:
    • You are responsible for the agile deployment of infrastructure requested by development teams.
    • You are in charge of operational and security maintenance, including monitoring and performance optimization of infrastructures.
  • Project Participation and Management:
    • You actively participate in project analysis and design phases, including PI planning and Sprints.
    • You define tools, procedures, and rules for successful production infrastructure deployments for new application features.
    • You proactively identify and assess infrastructure risks.
  • Incident Automation and Management:
    • You support project teams in the design and integration of infrastructure technical components.
    • You are responsible for the support and maintenance of infrastructures and technical components, managing complex and critical incidents.
    • You manage escalations to development teams and act as the local client team interface.
    • You propose and implement automation and CI/CD solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Innovation Facilitation and Support:
    • You participate in technical committees and continuous technological watch.
    • You support project teams in the design and integration of new infrastructure technical solutions.
    • You act as a referent, driving proposals and innovation within the teams.

These missions are evolving based on your learning desires and client needs.

Your Technical Environment May Include

  • Continuous Integration: GitLab, Nexus, Jenkins
  • Automation: Ansible, Ansible Tower, Terraform
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • DevOps Environment: CI/CD with Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, OVHcloud, Outscale)
  • Technological Environment: Microsoft, Linux, VmWare, Hyper-V

Qualifications

Your Profile:

Graduated from an Engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 3 years of significant experience in a similar role.

You are recognized for your adaptability, innovative spirit, ability to persuade, and synthesis skills.

You enjoy challenges and teamwork, while also demonstrating autonomy.

You are looking for projects that combine technical challenges, new technologies, and innovation.
