About the Role
Pernod Ricard, a global leader in wines and spirits, is seeking a motivated Machine Learning / MLOps Intern for a 6-month period starting July 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to scaling data science models within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Missions
- Contribute to the implementation of the MLOps process for maintaining ML models in production.
- Collaborate with the team to deploy and enhance scalable, efficient pipelines using MLOps best practices.
- Work with the team on developing production-quality services, including unit and integration testing, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
- Maintain and contribute to the API serving our web application.
- Identify opportunities to improve the go-to-production process, MLOps workflows, and end-to-end experiences.
- Apply software development practices and standards to improve and ensure code quality.
- Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the Data platform community.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative science field; a PhD is a plus.
- Implementation experience with high-level languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or C/C++.
- Experience in building or improving CI/CD pipelines and in machine learning.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
- Knowledge and experience with MLOps frameworks (e.g., Azure ML Studio, MLFlow, Kubeflow).
- Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus.
- Must be able to complete a 6-month internship and have an official school/university agreement.
