Position Overview
IT Tech Operations keeps PayFit's internal IT running smoothly - owning the systems that underpin it (IAM, MDM), driving continuous improvement across its scope, and staying ahead of AI developments to sharpen workflows and support its secure adoption across the company.
Missions
- Ensure Support Excellence & Operational Reliability (Run): Keep internal IT services reliable and easy to use. Make support scalable through structured incident handling, standardized flows, and solid documentation.
- Own and improve device management (MDM / Fleet): Own the full device lifecycle end-to-end, ensuring enrollment, compliance, and asset accuracy. Run Apple (Kandji) and Linux (Automox) fleets with a clear security baseline and safe deployments.
- Make access management scalable (Okta / IAM): Own and evolve Okta IAM foundations (SSO, RBAC, SCIM) with lifecycle flows and least privilege applied by design.
- Automate and integrate to reduce manual work (Automation): Automate provisioning flows and build integrations across Okta, Kandji, and key SaaS tools to reduce IT Ops toil.
- Help teams adopt new tools and deploy new apps (Enablement): Partner with teams on secure tool rollouts and own endpoint app deployment via MDM.
- Keep security & compliance "built-in" (Operational Security): Enforce IT security policies across access and devices, and keep audit-ready documentation in partnership with Security & Compliance.
- Manage assets and vendors sustainably (Sustainable IT): Maintain accurate asset and license management and ensure vendors have clear escalation paths and rationalized usage.
- Drive AI-aware IT transformation (AI Enablement): Identify AI opportunities to reduce toil in IT workflows and support secure, scalable AI adoption across the company.
This role is for you if you have:
- 3-6 years of experience in IT Operations in a tech or SaaS environment
- Hands-on Okta expertise: SSO (SAML/OIDC), RBAC, SCIM provisioning, MFA policies, and lifecycle flows (joiner/mover/leaver)
- Apple MDM experience (Kandji, Jamf, or equivalent): golden baseline management, staged app deployments, and complex troubleshooting
- Google Workspace administration (org units, policies, groups, delegations)
- Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, and ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues independently — including basic Meraki console navigation to diagnose office network issues and engage external support efficiently
- Ability to automate IT workflows (Okta Workflows, no-code/low-code tools, or scripting)
- Security-first operational mindset: least privilege, clean offboarding practices, endpoint compliance enforcement
- Structured support operations: incident triage, ticket hygiene, documentation, and standardized onboarding/offboarding flows
- Cross-functional collaboration: able to work effectively with non-technical employees as well as Security, Legal, HR, and business teams
- Professional English: written and spoken
It would be also nice if you have:
- Bash scripting experience, particularly for MDM script deployments
- Linux administration and/or Automox familiarity
- Python or JavaScript scripting beyond no-code automation
- Practical experience using AI tools in an IT context (ticket triage, knowledge base generation, etc.)
- SaaS license and hardware asset lifecycle management
- Previous experience in a fast-paced SaaS or fintech environment
