Joining Novaspace means integrating an innovative and fast-growing international consulting group specialized in the space sector. Novaspace is currently seeking an Events' project manager to contribute to its growth in the space industry.

We're looking for an Event Manager on a fixed-term contract from June 1st to Mid-november (this contract might be extended).

About the position

We are seeking an experienced project manager reporting to our Events Director to support our events activities and strategy in the space sector.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and organizing events and projects of all scales, lead project teams and follow a 360-degree organization approach, including leadership of complex, multi-stakeholder events.
  • Proven track record with international conferences, congresses, forums, and association events, preferably in agency settings.
  • Developing and running new or existing events including:
    • Coordination of the content & support the conference program management: identification and invitation of speakers, responsible for production and coordination of the content (speakers communication, moderators' reports and support, etc).
    • Follow-up on sales (liaise with the sales team to support with the sales documents, follow the objectives on Salesforce, capacity to prepare proposals and manage the client when the event involves a co-organizer or a customer).
    • Management of all logistics (venue, F&B, registration platform).
    • Work collaboratively with other functions including Sales, Content and Operations to provide updates on production status.
    • Coordination support on the identification of target audience & potential guests/attendees, logistics support on invitations and confirmations.
    • Coordination with communication team for communication plan and promotional material when needed.
  • Supporting existing events: support the team during & before the event with communications, onsite logistics, manage onsite schedules & providers.

Qualification & experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Economics.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience organizing international conferences, congresses, forums, dealing with public (institutions) and private stakeholders.
  • Strategic problem-solver who excels in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and knowledge of digital tools (MS Office, Monday, Salesforce, Swapcard, Adobe Suite is a plus).
  • Languages: fluency in English is mandatory (spoken and written). Knowledge of French and additional languages is a plus.
  • Personal skills: ability to work in an international environment; autonomy, adaptive & able to deal with priorities; a team player, capable of evolving with flexibility; ability to work under pressure & to travel; committed to high quality results.
