Service Director Western Europe (H/F – CDI)

As Service Director Western Europe, you will play a pivotal role in leading our service organization across France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. You will drive operational excellence, lead a team of ±300 employees and translate global strategies into impactful local execution. What You Will Be Doing

As Service Director Western Europe, you are responsible for the overall performance, strategy and leadership of the service organization across the cluster. You combine a strong operational mindset with a strategic view, ensuring both daily excellence and long-term growth while being a key member of the Western Europe Management team.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

  • Contributing as a key member of the Western Europe Leadership Team to drive the overall success and development of the Cluster
  • Bringing the Global Customer Service strategy to life in the Cluster and working with Global and Regional Service colleagues towards greater harmonization
  • Fostering strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR and others to drive performance and growth
  • Delivering a premium customer experience while driving operational excellence
  • Acting as an inspirational leader and role model across the 4 countries -- for the Service organization and beyond
  • Identifying and developing Service talent
  • Managing the full Service P&L across Western Europe, and identifying growth opportunities to drive the Service business development.
  • The role reports to the Managing Director of Cluster Western Europe, with a dotted line to the Regional Service Director

The Service Director we are looking for:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in senior service leadership (contact center, field service and/or technical service).
  • Strategic acumen and proven experience in leading cross-border teams in an inspirational, people- and result-oriented way.
  • Solid expertise in P&L and operational excellence.
  • International exposure and ability to oversee multiple countries.
  • Excellent people leadership and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Capable of overseeing the bigger picture while understanding cross-departmental impacts.
  • Fluent in English (C1) and French (C1).
  • Is based in Île de France, preferably in the CDG-area.
  • Willing to travel 3-5 days per month to Belgium, Luxembourg and/or the Netherlands.
