Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal with experience in UK Family Law to support a busy legal team. This is a fully remote role ideal for candidates with strong organisational skills, legal research capabilities, and a solid understanding of UK family law procedures.

You will play a key role in case preparation, client communication, and document management, ensuring smooth progression of cases and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist solicitors with case preparation across divorce, child custody, and financial remedy matters
  • Draft legal documents including witness statements, court applications, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research on UK family law regulations and case precedents
  • Manage and organise case files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Support with court bundle preparation and filing procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Assist with administrative tasks to ensure efficient case progression

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Paralegal in UK Family Law (essential)
  • Strong understanding of UK legal procedures, particularly family court processes
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in legal software and document management systems
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification preferred
