About GitGuardian
GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up with offices in Paris, New York City, and Boston. Our early investors include Scott Chacon (co-founder of GitHub) and Solomon Hykes (co-founder of Docker), along with top-tier American and European VC firms.
We prevent the daily leakage of secrets—API keys, passwords, certificates—into code, safeguarding against breaches that can cost Fortune 500 companies millions. Our platform serves over 600,000 developers, scanning billions of commits in real-time to detect and remediate exposed secrets at an unmatched scale.
GitGuardian leads in Non-Human Identity security, providing end-to-end solutions for secrets detection, productivity enhancement, remediation, observability, and proactive leak prevention.
About Your Team and Mission
We have recently secured major funding to expand our capabilities and are seeking a product leader to elevate our detection engine and integrations ecosystem. This is a strategic role focused on building a product at the intersection of massive-scale infrastructure and developer security. You will own systems that scan Petabytes of code globally, build integrations embedding GitGuardian into developer workflows, and forge partnerships with major tech players like AWS, Google, and Microsoft.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Own the Integrations Ecosystem: Define and execute the strategy for integrating with SCMs, cloud providers, CI/CD pipelines, secrets managers, ticketing systems, and SIEMs to establish GitGuardian as the default security layer in enterprise development stacks.
- Advance the Detection Engine at Scale: Collaborate with engineering to enhance our ability to scan Petabytes of code in real-time with high accuracy across monorepos, cloud storage, and SaaS platforms.
- Strategy & Partnerships (40%): Define the integrations roadmap, prioritize platform investments, and lead partnership discussions with AWS, Google, and Microsoft.
- Discovery (30%): Conduct interviews with security and platform engineering teams at Fortune 500 companies to understand their large-scale infrastructure and identify coverage gaps.
- Execution (30%): Write technical specifications, plan sprints, track integration adoption metrics, monitor detection engine performance, and iterate on the product.
Stack and Tools
- Product: 500+ secret detectors, ML-powered intelligence, Internal & Public Monitoring, NHI Governance. Integrations with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Slack, ServiceNow, Jira, AWS, GCP, Azure, and secrets managers.
