About the job
CY Cergy Paris Université (CYU) is seeking a Research Project Manager to support two major research programmes hosted at CESDIP, a leading French research centre specialising in sociology of law, justice, citizenship and public institutions.
The successful candidate will work across two projects:

POSTCOLCIT, a five-year ERC Starting Grant funded under Horizon Europe, examining the colonial legacies of citizenship regimes in contemporary Europe;
-
DemoCIS, a France 2030 research programme exploring the challenges facing contemporary democracies, including political participation, institutional trust, democratic innovation and societal polarisation.
Working closely with principal investigators, programme coordinators, university services and research partners, the Project Manager will play a central role in the implementation, coordination and long-term development of both projects.
Responsibilities

Support the administrative and financial management of research projects;

Monitor budgets, expenditures and reporting obligations;

Organise scientific meetings, workshops, and conferences;

Support recruitment procedures and onboarding processes;
-
Coordinate fieldwork logistics, travel and research missions;

Monitor compliance with research ethics, data protection and open science requirements;

Contribute to communication, dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities.
Qualifications
-
Master's degree (or equivalent) in project management, research administration, higher education management or a related field;
-
Experience in research project management, particularly within publicly funded and/or European-funded projects, is highly desirable;
-
Excellent organisational and writing skills;
-
Excellent command of French and English;
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
