Responsibilities
- Conduct market insight, demand analysis, and competitive analysis for new energy vehicles, electric drive assemblies, and core components targeting local European OEMs.
- Develop and follow up on leads and business opportunities with key local European customers; secure project orders, conduct business negotiations, sign contracts, and achieve sales, revenue, and payment collection targets.
- Research and analyze product and service demand, competitor conditions, and other relevant market information; prepare and organize market research and analysis reports according to plan.
- Organize marketing activities, plan participation in key local European exhibitions and forums, and enhance the company's local brand influence.
- Based on the company's European market development objectives, plan short-, medium-, and long-term market development strategies from an overall perspective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in a science or engineering-related discipline. Candidates with experience in powertrain product development, business development, procurement, and key account development will be preferred.
- At least 6 years of sales, service, and management experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the new energy vehicle components sector, with sales and service experience serving automotive OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Familiar with the development processes, major customers, screening/selection procedures, bidding, and tendering rules in the traditional powertrain and electric drive industries. Candidates with extensive experience in customer development, project development, and industry screening/operation will be preferred.
- Able to use English as a working language and proficient in at least one official language of the target country.
- Able to work independently, with strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Strong customer communication skills and a strong sense of customer service.
This is a fully remote field-based role with no daily office attendance required. You will be based in Paris, France and take charge of local & regional client development, business visits and market expansion with necessary regional travel.
