Head of Business Development (Remote)

Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Business Development to lead Clarrio's global growth initiatives. This role will drive new business acquisition, build strong client relationships, and expand our footprint within the CRO, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors , with a strong focus on B2B SaaS/software sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a scalable business development strategy
- Identify and win new clients in CRO, pharma, and life sciences
- Lead full-cycle B2B SaaS sales, from prospecting to closing
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to align solutions with market needs
- Track industry trends and identify new growth opportunities
- Represent Clarrio at industry events and conferences
- Build and scale the business development function
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or sales (mandatory)
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS / software sales (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of CRO and/or pharmaceutical industry (mandatory)
- Demonstrated success in closing high-value deals and driving revenue growth
- Strong network within life sciences or digital health ecosystem is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
- Experience working in a remote/global environment
