The Communication Channels & Content Team

The Communication Channels & Content team is part of the Thematic Channels & Editorial Marketing Department within CANAL International's Channels and Content Directorate. We manage over 20 thematic channels in French, English, and local languages (Wolof, Lingala, etc.), primarily distributed across Africa.

Your Role and Missions

  • Participate in the communication of our edited channels (Novelas TV, NOLYWOOD channels, Cuisines, SUNU YEUF, MABOKE TV...) in collaboration with digital agencies, including community management, agency briefings, and digital format ideation.
  • Inform and coordinate communication around CANAL-produced programs for Africa with various teams (CANAL Original Creation series, new shows, sports events...).
  • Liaise with third-party channel editors to stay updated on their news and upcoming key programming.

About You

  • Passionate about the media and communication industry.
  • A genuine interest in cinema, series, and sports.
  • Creative with strong writing skills.
  • An interest in the African continent.

The Process

  • Initial phone interview with HR.
  • One interview with the manager and a team member.
  • The entire process typically takes about two weeks and can be conducted via video call or in person.
