EHR Annotation Specialist (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for clinically knowledgeable professionals to help train AI systems on real Electronic Health Record (EHR) data. Your expertise in diagnoses, procedures, and clinical documentation will directly shape how AI understands and interprets medical information --- making healthcare AI smarter, safer, and more reliable.

- Location: Fully Remote

What You'll Do
- Review and annotate clinical chart elements including diagnoses, procedures, medications, and clinical notes
- Apply consistent annotation standards to complex, real-world EHR datasets
- Identify and label key clinical entities, relationships, and patterns within patient records
- Exercise careful judgment to ensure annotation accuracy across diverse case types
- Provide structured, high-quality feedback that directly improves AI model performance
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Background in healthcare, clinical informatics, nursing, medical coding, or a related field
- Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards (e.g., ICD, CPT, SNOMED)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to apply guidelines consistently
- Comfortable working with complex, nuanced datasets
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior AI or annotation experience required --- training provided
Nice to Have
- Experience with medical coding (CPC, CCS, or similar certifications)
- Background in clinical informatics, health information management, or medical transcription
- Familiarity with NLP or AI data labeling workflows
