About The Role
What if your eye for detail and familiarity with online shopping could directly improve how millions of people discover products? We're looking for E-commerce Data Analysts to review, categorize, and refine product data that powers AI-driven shopping and recommendation systems.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone who shops online and has a knack for organization and accuracy. No formal e-commerce or retail background required --- just a sharp, systematic mind and a reliable internet connection.

What You'll Do
- Review product listings for accuracy, completeness, and correct categorization
- Evaluate AI-generated product descriptions and recommendation outputs
- Tag and classify products using structured category systems and guidelines
- Identify duplicate, misleading, or low-quality product entries
- Provide clear, structured feedback to help improve AI-powered product search and discovery
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Familiar with online shopping platforms and how product categories work
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, systematic approach to tasks
- Comfortable working with structured data and web-based tools
- Strong written communication skills
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior e-commerce, retail, or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience in data entry, cataloguing, or product management
- Background in retail, merchandising, or consumer research
- Familiarity with AI tools or e-commerce platforms as an end user
