About The Role

What You'll Do
- Transcribe audio recordings into accurate written text following provided style and formatting guidelines
- Handle a variety of audio conditions --- different accents, speech speeds, and recording quality levels
- Apply consistent punctuation, formatting, and speaker labeling rules
- Flag unclear or inaudible segments and document them appropriately
- Meet quality standards and turnaround targets for each assigned batch
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- A strong, focused listener with a sharp ear for detail
- Accurate typist who can maintain quality across extended sessions
- Patient and methodical --- you don't skip over difficult audio
- Comfortable following detailed written guidelines and style rules
- Reliable and self-motivated in a remote, task-based environment
- No prior transcription or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Previous transcription, captioning, or audio editing experience
- Familiarity with transcription software or platforms
- Experience working with diverse accents or technical subject matter
